The website of the "International Buddhist Archives" offers Buddhist texts to the international public. These texts are contributed by experienced teachers or translators of various Buddhist traditions. In return, optional donations for contributors and non-profit Buddhist organizations are received and transferred to them.

When you find a document you would like to download, click the link to add it to your document list. When you are ready, go to your document list and click 'Ready to Download'.
You will need to login before you actually download, so perhaps you would like to create an account now - just fill in the registration form.
You may choose to download for free, or if you wish you may take advantage of the opportunity offered to make a donation to give your appreciation for the document and the service.
If you are a translator or author of Buddhist texts, or if you have some other document to share, please apply to be a contributor. To apply, register and login, then update your profile to fill in the extra details requested as fully as possible. Then email info(at)buddhistarchives.org stating your login name and request an upgrade to contributor status.
At the point of downloading a document, you will be offered an opportunity to make an online donation, but you may also choose to download without making a donation (except for very few documents which require a specified minimum donation).
You may specify that your donation goes to the contributor of the document (e.g. translator, author), or to a Dharma Organisation nominated by the contributor of the document that you are downloading. You may also choose to make a donation to support this website, for expenses such as webhosting costs and staff.
When you create an account your details are given only to the Buddhist Archives. We do not share or sell your details with anyone.
When you make an online donation we do not request or store any of your credit card details. Instead, you make a donation via PayPal, on the PayPal website where your details are handled securely and professionally. PayPal confirms to us the amount of your donation but does not give us your account details.
